Private Maine Fishing & Hunting Guide Trips
Meet Captain Elias Allen | Northern Approach Guide Service
Captain Elias Allen grew up with a rod in his hand and a love for the water that started before he could tie his own hooks. Raised around Maine’s lakes and rivers, he learned from family and local anglers who showed him the value of patience, respect for nature, and the thrill of landing that first fish. Those early days shaped not just his passion, but his purpose—guiding others to experience the same excitement. Today, Elias is known as a warm, down-to-earth captain who makes every guest feel like they’re fishing with an old friend.
With years of hands-on experience, Captain Elias has built a reputation as one of the most trusted Maine fishing guides, offering safe, knowledgeable, and highly personalized trips across the region. He holds all required certifications, maintains strict safety standards, and stays updated on local patterns, seasonal migrations, and the best fishing hotspots in Maine. Whether guests are new to fishing or seasoned anglers, they appreciate his clear instruction, steady patience, and ability to put them on fish in any conditions.
Beyond guiding, Captain Elias is deeply involved in conservation efforts and supports local outdoor programs that help kids and new anglers learn responsible fishing. He’s earned praise for his commitment to sustainable practices and often volunteers at community events promoting fisheries education. His knowledge of the local ecosystem, combined with a genuine passion for preserving it, sets him apart from captains who just run charters—Elias is part of the fabric of Maine’s outdoor community.
Your trip is powered by his well-equipped vessel, designed for comfort, safety, and top performance on Maine waters.
